Bianca Basler and James Park, two musical performers from Germany, who have now found their home in the Austrian music capital as adopted Viennese, invite you to a personal, musical evening. Bianca, known from productions such as Rebecca and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and James, who has thrilled the Viennese audience in Miss Saigon and Rebecca, present together with musicians Michael Schnack on piano and Danylo Dmyterko on percussion a program that blurs the boundaries between stage and audience.

With “Wiener Blut geleckt”, the four artists narrate their individual stories of arriving, dreaming, and establishing themselves in Vienna through emotional duets, solo pieces, and conversations. Here, their journey from Germany, South Korea, and the U.S.A. to Austria comes alive - a love letter to the city and the stage that became their artistic home. An evening full of emotion that invites the audience to look behind the scenes and into the hearts of these unique artists.

Clemens Maria Schreiner stands by all his mistakes - he just doesn't make any.

He can calibrate a printer, mount a lamp, poach an egg, and spell all the words in this sentence. He eats sushi with chopsticks but without tuna, speaks passable French, and regularly talks to his plants. He has his chest waxed, his eyes lasered, and his photos retouched. He can quote Goethe, use the youth word of the year in a sentence without mishap, and furthermore has the graciousness to refrain from doing both at once. He has the right child with the right woman, bought cryptocurrencies in the right stadium, and knows that in this case it must be "stadium." But now he is trading his permanent perfectionism for the courage to embrace imperfection!


So, the motto of the evening is: away from suboptimal self-optimization and towards unblemished error joy. Clemens Maria Schreiner finds infinitely many correct questions for every wrong answer. Because you can make many things wrong - but never everything right.

Lotfullah ist 2015 als 15-Jähriger allein nach Österreich geflohen. 2017 trat er das erste Mal im Vestibül des Burgtheaters auf und spielte danach auf Theaterfestivals, Parkplätzen, im Zirkuszelt und beim Heurigen. An diesem Abend erzählt er seine eigene Geschichte, unterstützt und kommentiert vom „Staatsbürgerchor“.

Das ist keine Flüchtlingsgeschichte, das ist eine kafkaeske Erzählung über Bürokratie. Eine Geschichte von unverständlicher Amtssprache, von Gewalt, vom Wert einer Staatsbürgerschaft und von Lotfullahs bemerkenswerter Ausdauer, seinem Charme und Humor. Eine Geschichte über die Macht von Institutionen und die Kraft menschlicher Beziehungen.
