Loft 8 is a platform for new positions in Austrian and international art. Since January 2013, Loft8 has been presenting works by young Austrian and international artists in solo and group exhibitions, with a focus on painting, graphic art, sculpture, and installation. The aim of our platform is to provide a showcase for young artists at the creative location of Brotfabrik. After an intensive initial phase in 2013 with six exhibitions, this year we plan to have seven exhibitions, including three solo shows and four group exhibitions, each featuring a maximum of three artists. The exhibition activity is complemented and accompanied by artist talks, performances, and curated projects.
