A modern fairy tale to melt away
The Theater Liberi stages the well-known fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen as a modern musical adaptation. The professional musical ensemble tells the story of the loneliness of an outsider and her desire for admiration and acceptance, but also of courage and unconditional friendship. This contrast is also reflected in the stage design, which blurs the boundaries between fantasy and reality. Musically, the audience is taken on a rapid journey through different genres with grand arrangements, complemented by impressive choreographies and exceptional lighting design.

Adventure in snow and ice
Gerda and Kay are best friends and inseparable since childhood. The two lead a completely normal life until one day a winter storm approaches their city. That evening, Gerda's mother tells them for the first time the story of a magical queen, the ruler of snow and ice. When Kay mysteriously disappears shortly after, Gerda sets out to find him. She lands in a mysterious world where anything seems possible. Suddenly, Gerda is in the midst of an adventure where she meets funny characters, makes an eccentric acquaintance, and falls into the hands of a quirky gang. Luckily, she is not alone and can count on unexpected help. But time is running out and Gerda must muster all her courage to save Kay from the icy world of the Snow Queen...

"I just want you to be happy" is more than just a line in our song "Marie". It is a message, deeply rooted in the DNA of our band, and the task we set for ourselves before every performance. People should leave a concert happier than they were before.

The band, founded in 2014 in Thal, Styria, has proven that it makes sense to believe in yourself and to maintain perseverance. After two albums, the song "Marie" became a classic in Austrian music history. This marked the rise to become a fixed asset in the local music scene. That they write, record, and produce their songs in their own studio is just a side note. However, the band's true passion is the stage. A concert is an intense experience, and they have already filled the main stages at the Nova Rock Festival and the Danube Island Festival.

50 SHADES OF SCHMÄH

Alex Kristan has turned 50, or as the optimist within him says: "The first third of life is over." And because the thirst for action is still greater than the nocturnal urge to urinate, he takes this "round" as an opportunity to treat himself to a new solo program. Because when one suddenly finds themselves in the 50+ target group as a so-called Best Ager, only humor can help against the lead in the legs and the silver in the hair.

Supposedly, 50 is the new 30. Or is that only true for the local area? Even if 10 PM becomes the new midnight, the new skin care still doesn't have to be Voltaren instead of Nivea. It still pays off to buy long-life milk. Making diet plans, dyeing hair, whitening teeth, all of that is for pop-up seniors who see crowdfunding as a detox cure. His motto, on the other hand, is: "being sensible is like being dead, but before" and brings back the cheeky kid.

Exactly at that pivotal point in life, where the balance lies between looking well-groomed and being well taken care of, one asks oneself if everything really was better in the past and if so, why not? Shortsightedness is now compensated with foresight, and as long as the cake is more expensive than the candles on it, one is not old anyway.

Alex Kristan's alter egos naturally accompany him on this journey and are there to provide advice and assistance when it comes to the truly essential questions in the life of a man supposedly in his best years. It's a start-up into a new phase of life, where gout or truth is at stake.

And the truth is, he is 42 net, so exclusive of VAT. Aging is a very beautiful thing. Especially considering the alternative.

After a long break and many TV appearances with Rod Stewart, Jools Holland will go on a short European tour in March 2025. The Hollywood Philharmonic Orchestra cooperates in Europe with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra and the Choir of the Republic of Belarus. This musical body delights audiences throughout Europe with "its unrestrained pleasure in making music." For several years, the ensemble has successfully performed at the most famous opera houses and concert halls in Germany, such as the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Philharmonie Munich, the Philharmonie Berlin, and the Laeiszhalle Hamburg.

The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus was founded in 1927 as one of the oldest institutions in the Soviet Union. The "Belarusian State Philharmonic Society" was established ten years later, to which the orchestra belongs today. The Symphony Orchestra has always been one of the leading orchestras in Russia. Some of the most sought-after soloists of the twentieth century were always happy to accept the invitation of this Symphony Orchestra, such as David Oistrach, Yehudi Menuhin, Victor Ashkenazy, and Isaac Stern.

THE MUSIC
On this evening, the audience will experience a musical "Best of Harry Potter" from all eight films and the theater work. John Williams (Star Wars, ET, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park) composed the music for the first three films, and the audience can expect the most famous titles from these parts. Also featured are works by Patrick Doyle, who drew us into the mysterious and dark world of the "Triwizard Tournament" with his music in the fourth Harry Potter film. Nicholas Hooper helped shape Harry's maturation process in the fifth and sixth Harry Potter films, and Alexandre Desplat was responsible for the compositions of the Deathly Hallows in the last two works of the film series with the grand and unforgettable finale.
