The Vestibül im Burgtheater, located at Universitätsring 2 in Vienna, is the smallest performance venue of the renowned Burgtheater and serves as a studio stage for innovative theater projects. With a capacity of a maximum of 60 seats, it offers an intimate setting for experimental productions and cultural events.
Access to the Vestibül is via the Ringstraße on the side of Café Landtmann. Its central location provides excellent connections to public transport; tram lines 1, 71, and D stop at the Rathausplatz/Burgtheater station, and the U-Bahn line U3 is accessible via the Herrengasse station (Exit Minoritenplatz).
In addition to its role as a theater stage, the Vestibül also houses an excellent restaurant that serves modern Viennese cuisine in a historic setting. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday until midnight and offers an ideal way to conclude a theater visit with culinary delights.
For visitors arriving by car, public parking options are available in the surrounding area, including the BOE underground parking garage Rathausplatz and the WIPARK garage Freyung. Please note that there is a short-term parking zone around the Burgtheater from 9 AM to 10 PM.
