Wie immer gibt es neben den speziellen Interpretationen der Songs auch jede Menge an Infos und Bonmots, die von den Protagonisten wie immer spontan und im typischen Stil a lá Monti Beton geboten werden. JUBEL!

Zu Monti Beton:

Es gibt in Europa kaum eine Band, die sich so intensiv der Pflege gehobener Rock- und Popmusik widmet - ohne dabei als typische Coverband zu agieren - wie die aus Wien stammende Gruppe MONTI BETON. Konkret widmet sich die Band seit über 40 Jahren in erster Linie Künstlern bzw. Gruppen, die nicht mehr live zu sehen sind, deren Musik jedoch mittlerweile durchaus als zeitgenössisch zu betrachten ist. Dabei gelingt es MONTI BETON immer wieder, sich in die Wurzeln dieser Musik und deren Künstler einzuklinken und somit die größtmögliche Message des Originals wiederzugeben, ohne diese dabei zu imitieren, sondern vielmehr im typischen MONTI BETON-Stil, also humorig unterhaltend zu interpretieren. So gibt es von MONTI BETON eigene abendfüllende Programme - die sich u.a. der Musik der Beatles, Elvis, Kinks, Bob Dylan, Simon&Garfunkel, David Bowie oder den Doors widmen.

Gemeinsam mit Goleador Hans Krankl hat die Wiener Kultband weitere Programme entwickelt: Neben „Die Nacht des Austropop“ auch "Christmas Classics Extravaganza“, „Il Spettacolo Italo-Americano" und "Die Schlagernacht des Schlagers“. Am 5. Juli 2025 feierten Johann K. und Monti Beton ihr gemeinsames 20-jähriges Bühnenjubiläum mit einem einzigartigen Event in der Wiener Staatsoper.

In Europe, there is hardly a band that dedicates itself so intensively to the cultivation of elevated rock and pop music - without acting as a typical cover band - as the Vienna-based group MONTI BETON. Specifically, the band has been focusing for over 40 years primarily on artists or groups that are no longer seen live, whose music, however, can now certainly be considered contemporary.
