Die liederlichen Ladycops
Nothing human is foreign to them. The three well-known ladycops have shaped the German-speaking crime landscape for years as protagonists of the most popular TV genre. Now they are taking a step into the world of crime and switching sides for 90 minutes that fly by. Three former TV commissioners — Kristina Sprenger, Julia Cencig (both from SOKO Kitzbühel) and Sylvia Haider (Doppelter Einsatz, Tatort) — serve a literary-musical feast of the dead that transcends law and morality. They are accompanied by the upstanding musician Helmut Stippich.
In this exciting and clever evening, they dance and sing, showing that murder in literature has always had its firm place. "Heite grab ma Dode aus" by Voodoo Jürgens, "Der Frauenmörderwurm" by Georg Danzer and "Das Geburtstagsgeschenk" by Ludwig Hirsch and other popular songs lighten the witty compilation of stories told by Roald Dahl, Thomas Bernhard and H.C. Artmann, from Erich Kästner to Gerhard Rühm. And again and again, Georg Kreisler with his satirical literary, musical flashes into the abysses of human existence.
The murder menu, with guaranteed deadly intolerances, also includes texts, poems, and songs by Frank Wedekind, Bertolt Brecht and Wolf Biermann, top-notch German-speaking literature. You will be amused, you will shudder, and you will marvel.
