50 SHADES OF SCHMÄH

Alex Kristan ist 50 geworden, oder wie der Optimist in ihm sagt: „Das erste Lebensdrittel ist vorbei.“ Und weil der Tatendurst trotzdem immer noch größer ist als der nächtliche Harndrang, nimmt er diesen „Runden“ zum Anlass, um sich mit einem neuen Soloprogramm zu beschenken. Denn wenn man sich von heute auf morgen plötzlich in der Zielgruppe 50+ als sogenannter Best Ager wiederfindet, hilft nur Schmäh gegen das Blei in den Beinen und das Silber in den Haaren.

Angeblich soll ja 50 das neue 30 sein. Oder gilt das nur fürs Ortsgebiet? Auch wenn 22 Uhr das neue Mitternacht wird, muss die neue Hautpflege noch lange nicht Voltaren statt Nivea heißen. Es zahlt sich immer noch aus Haltbarmilch zu kaufen. Diätpläne schmieden, Haare färben, Zähne bleichen, das alles ist etwas für Pop-Up-Senioren, die Kraut-Funding als Entgiftungskur sehen. Sein Motto hingegen ist: „vernünftig ist wie tot, nur vorher“ und lässt die Rotzpipn wiederauferstehen.

Genau an dem Scheitelpunkt im Leben, der sich zwischen gepflegt aussehen und gepflegt werden abspielt, stellt man sich die Frage, ob früher wirklich alles besser war und wenn ja, warum nicht? Kurzsichtigkeit wird jetzt mit Weitblick kompensiert und solange die Torte noch teurer ist als die Kerzen drauf, ist man ohnehin nicht alt.

His motto, on the other hand, is: "being sensible is like being dead, but before" and brings back the cheeky kid.

Exactly at that pivotal point in life, where the balance lies between looking well-groomed and being well taken care of, one asks oneself if everything really was better in the past and if so, why not? Shortsightedness is now compensated with foresight, and as long as the cake is more expensive than the candles on it, one is not old anyway.
