We are looking forward to the 11th edition, featuring five great bands!
Joining us are DEARISCH, STRANZINGER, RAUTÖNE, ZOITOG, and OSTERMANN.
Check it out!!
DEARISCH If you can't make the world a better place, you can at least provide a temporary liberation of the auditory canals - and everything in between. This can be achieved on the basis of matured 2000s rock from the American school, combined with authentic dialect.
"DEARISCH" is enthusiasm and depression. Brutal and subtle. Intrusive and charming. The feeling of departure before a long night - and the hangover afterward. Everything that rock'n'roll is all about. How could one ever come up with the idea of interpreting Austrian rock music differently than it naturally is?
STRANZINGER is back and writing a new chapter in Austrian rock music! Reinhard Stranzinger presents a powerful mix of hard rock, thought-provoking mid-tempo songs, and ballads with his third album "I brauch mein Rock ‘n‘ Roll".
STRANZINGER, named after the charismatic guitarist and frontman Reinhard Stranzinger, is a unique music project that combines elements from various genres.
As a former member of bands like Hubert von Goisern & die Original Alpinkatzen, ERSTE ALLGEMEINE VERUNSICHERUNG (EAV), SUPERMAX, and DRAHDIWABERL, Reinhard Stranzinger has left an unmistakable mark and is a prominent figure in the Austrian music scene. With STRANZINGER, he has been pursuing his own path for many years, connecting with his musical influences while also setting new, creative accents.
STRANZINGER will present the new songs live, and fans can look forward to an exciting stage show that brings the energetic music to life.
RAUTÖNE - Catchy yet far from beaten paths, rocky, but unafraid of quiet tones. A mix of danceable sing-along numbers and heart-wrenching ballads that effortlessly bridge the gap between party anthem and love song. The dialect singing adds the necessary intensity and independence to the music. And all without the danger of awkward swaying!
Rautöne, the evolution of Austrian rock music.
ZOITOG .......echoes every month in a Favoriten basement. The call of the bassist, the old hand and man of the first hour, when he once again collects the rehearsal space rent.
Back then, still as Pray4me with English lyrics and a similar lineup, all band members realized that their own language was the link to the listener, and their own lyrics, especially in dialect, could be conveyed much more authentically. Said and done.... Kurti on bass, Don on guitar, Günther on drums, and Evelin on vocals gave birth to the project "ZOITOG".
This formation can hardly be categorized into a drawer. Rock/Blues/Poprock. This makes no difference for the band. What matters is the joy of music.
OSTERMANN stands for dialect pop in the good old style. Inspired and musically strongly influenced by greats like Ambros, Danzer, and others, Patrick - the singer and songwriter - also writes lyrics and songs that tell stories and touch the soul.
From humorous to profound lyrics, from rocking guitar sounds to silky soft ballads, everything is offered. Themes that can happen to any of us or have already happened are presented as catchy and easily digestible music pieces.
