Matinee - Willi Landl & Michael Hornek - Szymon Kałużny & Mina Zakić
In the equally cozy and elegant ambiance of the Refugium in Lunz, a part of our Matinee takes place again this year, in cooperation with the BRÜCKEN, the renowned music and literature festival in Mürz, under the direction of Ernst Kovacic. Under his curation, we hear the two young musicians Mina Zakić and Szymon Kałużny. They not only perform contemporary works but also explain them. Thus, they overcome that barrier which often prevents us from engaging with new music. We are sending Willi Landl & Michael Hornek, a strong duo – entertaining, quirky, and musically brilliant. So, we are building bridges, not only to the friendly festival but also between musical worlds and Lunzer places. Because the second half of the concert transforms the local church into a refreshing world of new music.
