Formed in Seattle in 1993, ZEKE quickly built a fearsome reputation with their brash, high-speed blend of hardcore punk and rock’n’roll. From early releases like West Seattle Acid Party and Holley 750 to the full-length Super Sound Racing, the band became known as “the live band to beat,” earning that title through relentless touring and explosive shows.

Albums such as Flat Tracker and the live record PIG cemented ZEKE’s status as rock’n’roll outlaws. Signing to Epitaph Records in 1998 marked a new chapter, beginning with Kicked in the Teeth (mixed by Jack Endino) and followed by the ferocious Dirty Sanchez in 2000. During this era, ZEKE toured nonstop across the US, Europe, Japan, and Australia, sharing stages with bands and artists ranging from Jerry Cantrell and Pearl Jam to DOA and The Supersuckers.

In 2001, Death Alley pushed the band’s core philosophy even further: fast is never fast enough. After parting ways with Epitaph, ZEKE found a new home at Relapse Records, releasing ’Til the Livin’ End, a white-hot blast of punk nihilism and metal intensity.

No matter the venue—stadiums or dive bars—ZEKE play every show like it could be their last. Loud, fast, and unapologetic, this is punk rock at full throttle.
