Mind Enterprises is the aesthetic universe and musical dreamworld of Turin raised producer Andrea Tirone. Drawing inspiration from the fizzy, synth-powered Italo that defined the 80s; the groovy, disco-adjacent basslines, hypnotic drum patterns and cosmic keyboard odysseys define the Mind Enterprises sound. Tirone perceives his ever-growing collection of vintage synthesizers like a “palette of colours”, or an orchestra of performers. “Every single machine has a distinctive sound that is exclusively the sound of that machine”
After the timeless single “IDOL” released on Because Music, which Swarovski used for an international advertising campaign, he pricked up the ears of his peers, including, most notably DJ / Producer Tino Piontek PKA Purple Disco Machine who asked him to collaborate on the title track of his “Exotica” LP, and French DJ superstar Valentin Brunel PKA Kungs, who sampled “Idol” on his massive global hit single “Never Going Home” that reached top 10 in France, Poland, Croatia, Dutch Top 40, and at one point last Summer the 4th most Shazamed track in the World, it also went Diamond in France and 2X Platinum in Italy and Poland.
Mind Enterprises also released a one off single on Italian dance label Time records, a subsidiary of Discomagic, a fun and quirky re-imagining of the classic “The Clapping Song”, which Kungs also remixed.
Meanwhile Andrea and his partner in music and cohort in 80s fashion taste Roberto Conigliaro, the Sicilian capo of the synths, took their Italo party out on the road after the world emerged from the global pandemic in 2022, winning new fans across supporting the mighty Confidence Man for the UK leg of their tour early summer and playing Festivals in Italy, Spain, France, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Estonia and Lithuania.
After a busy 2024, which saw the duo rejoining the legendery italian label Time Records for the release of the single “Up & Down (don't fall in love with me)”, the new single “Human Dance” featuring The Magician is scheduled to be out on the 28th March 2025, once again via Time Records, and it will be followed but another summer of synth action and some serious writing time and production work behind the scenes, which will lead to other releases across the year.
Expect to be seeing and hearing a lot more of Mind Enterprises over the next months.
