#weare - Starke Stimmen. Starke Frauen
Since 2018, the Viennese singer-songwriter and digital creator Virginia Ernst has given the topic of equality a large platform with her women’s concerts #WEARE – STÄRKE STIMMEN, STÄRKE FRAUEN. Over 70 female and male artists have joined the powerful women’s concert series in the past seven years to draw attention to ongoing social inequalities between women and men. On the occasion of the upcoming International Women's Day on March 8, 2025, the original #WEARE concert will take place at the GLOBE Vienna.
Renowned Line-up
As a multifaceted event, Virginia Ernst brings several artists to the stage: In 2025, Kernölamazonen, Michael Niavarani and the Simpl Ensemble, Stella Jones, the Schick Sisters, Christina Kiesler, Chris Lohner, Anna Timmler, Miss Allie, and Schlor & Fanta will provide a good atmosphere. The evening will be hosted by moderator Silvia Schneider and actor Markus Freistätter.
#WEARE across Austria
In addition to the main concert on March 8, 2024, at the GLOBE Vienna, #WEARE, organized by the Poxrucker Sisters, will take place that same evening at the Brucknerhaus in Linz. Additionally, the Schick Sisters will present #WEARE on March 6, 2025, at the Listhalle in Graz, followed by the #WEARE women’s concert at the Bühne im Hof in St. Pölten on March 12, 2025. The women’s concerts are more than just musical events – they are a symbol of solidarity and empowerment, which is why men also participate, as emphasized by Virginia Ernst.
The Allianz Österreich is pleased to once again be the main sponsor of the women’s concert #WEARE – STÄRKE STIMME, STÄRKE FRAUEN on March 8, 2025, at the Globe Vienna – fully in line with its ongoing commitment to equality in all areas of society. ROMA Friseurbedarf has also been a sponsor since the inception of #WEARE.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit a charitable purpose.
