Angela Ascher - Verdammt, ich lieb' mich
That there are vast differences between self-love and narcissism, and that self-love has many different faces is well known. The role that time, money, friendships, humor, empathy, emancipation, love, honesty, etc. play in this is discussed by Angela Ascher in her first stage program "Verdammt, ich lieb' mich" with brutal honesty towards herself and her audience.
In her debut, the true Bavarian showcases her comedic talent and love for the stage in expressive and passionate stand-up sequences, impressing with charming comedy in all its facets: clichés are played, broken, exaggerated, keenly observed, and dissected with a lot of humor. Confidently and with much irony, Angela categorizes topics in her own unique way and is not afraid to give out her opinions from time to time. For Angela Ascher does not hold back, even on rather spicy subjects like sex toys in the wrong hands, mental preservation techniques for very long relationships, glorifying one's own sex life in front of friends, and the question of whether one should rather sleep only with oneself to never fall below one’s level.
"Verdammt, ich lieb' mich" is a top-notch comedy program with explosive punchlines and affectionate sarcasm.
