Orchestra and Choir

The Hollywood Philharmonic Orchestra cooperates in Europe with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra and the Choir of the Republic of Belarus. This musical body delights audiences throughout Europe with "its unrestrained pleasure in making music." For several years, the ensemble has successfully performed at the most famous opera houses and concert halls in Germany, such as the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Philharmonie Munich, the Philharmonie Berlin, and the Laeiszhalle Hamburg.

The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus was founded in 1927 as one of the oldest institutions in the Soviet Union. The "Belarusian State Philharmonic Society" was established ten years later, to which the orchestra belongs today. The Symphony Orchestra has always been one of the leading orchestras in Russia. Some of the most sought-after soloists of the twentieth century were always happy to accept the invitation of this Symphony Orchestra, such as David Oistrach, Yehudi Menuhin, Victor Ashkenazy, and Isaac Stern.

Lars Eidinger is one of the most important German-speaking actors of our time. Together with drummer George Kranz, who has shared the stage with stars like Madonna, he interprets the love poems of the poet Thomas Brasch, who passed away in 2001. For Thomas Brasch, love is an attitude that refuses any definition. An attitude that fears its dreams and longs for them, that exposes itself to reality and always places the possible in the horizon of the impossible. Brasch's poetic passion hopes and despairs, trusts and deceives, praises and destroys. And it educates: When, to whom, and how does one write an erotic poem? Eidinger immerses himself in his inimitable way into the language and contemporary life worlds of Thomas Brasch, while George Kranz comments on the poems with his drums, body percussion, and vocal percussion. How timeless are the themes of love, its disasters and joys? How can love still exist in today’s atmosphere of crisis and apocalypse? And can the phrase with the famous three words "I love you" be spoken in a neutral way? Lars Eidinger is a member of the ensemble at the Berliner Schaubühne, with which he performs at theater festivals worldwide, he has acted in numerous German and European films (including alongside Isabelle Huppert) and has appeared as Jedermann in the Salzburg Cathedral Square.
